“IV International Conference on BPD: Hope comes from the knowledge”
on 27-28th May 2023 in Gdańsk, Poland

The Conference has been organised to celebrate May – BPD Awareness Month. Our goal is to share the knowledge and the current state of research on diagnosis and treatment opportunities for borderline personality disorders (BPD), increase awareness of needs of patients with BPD and comorbid mental health problems. We believe that spreading the knowledge can bring the hope to patients, their families and their treatment teams.
This year Conference consists of several plenary session during Day 1 on 27th May 2023 and workshops sessions during Day 2 on 28th May 2023.
At this point of time, we can provide simultaneous translation only during Day 1 (plenary sessions) and NOT for the workshop on Day2.
Therefore, all international participants are invited to join the Day 1 of the conference on 27th May 2023 in person in Gdansk, or online via ZOOM.
This registration form refers only to the participation in Day 1 of the Conference.

Conference fee:
The conference fee is 85, 00 EURO (early registration) and 107,00 EURO (late registration) and it has to be deposited within 4 days of the registration via online payment.
The fee is the same for the in person/online attendance.
In person participants:
The conference registration site will be open from 8:00 am on 27th May 2023. Participants will receive their Conference badges onsite.
Online participants:
All online participants will receive their ZOOM registration link 7-2 days before the Conference. After registering for the event, participants receive their ZOOM access link.

There are several options for accommodation in Gdańsk Old Town. You may choose to stay at one of the recommended hotels or find more suitable accommodation on your own.
After registration you will receive email with information about the 20% discounts at the Mercure Hotel (the Conference venue) and the Ibis Hotel (next door budget option).
Registration Terms and Conditions for the Participants of the Conference organised Polish Association for DBT (PTDBT)
§1. General provisions
1.1. These Regulations defines the rights and responsibilities of Conference Participants and PTDBT referred to as “Terms and Conditions”.
1.2. The Conference takes place at the date and place indicated by PTDBT: 27th May 2023 ate the venue: Hotel Gdansk Mercure Stare Miasto, Jana Heweliusz Street 22, 80-890 Gdansk and will be transmitted online via ZOOM platform.
1.3. The Organizer of the Conference is Polish Association for DBT located in Gdańsk (Politechniczna Street No. 9/7 Gdańsk, Poland) referred to as the “Organizer”.
1.4. Conference Participants are mental health specialists, students, family members, persons with personal experience and other persons associated with the topic of the Conference, and media and partners representatives, referred to as “Participants”.
1.5. Within the Conference, educational and didactic sessions, educational sessions will take place.
1.6. Every Participant shall receive a Conference Participation Certificate.
§2. Registration in the Conference
2.1. In order to take part in the Conference the Participant is required to register and pay the fee within due time to the bank account/via online payment system indicated on the Conference website.
2.2. Conditions of the Conference Participation are the following:
2.2.1. Conference Participation Enrolment is possible by filling out a form available on the Conference website or by enrolling personally at the Conference reception during the Conference.
2.2.2. The payment in amount and within due time indicated by the Organizer.
2.3. The deadline for the registration of the in-person participation via website expires on a day indicated by the Organizer. After the deadline, registration for the in-person participation will be possible personally at the conference reception during the Conference provided sufficient places are available. Registration for the online participation via website expires on 26th May 2023. After the deadline, registration for the in-person participation will be possible via contacting the Organizer directly via email: [email protected].
2.4. The Organizer shall not be responsible for false or untrue data provided by the Participant in the registration process.
2.5. Submitting the participation form available on the Conference website constitutes acceptance of the provisions of these Regulations and compliance of the legal provisions and other arrangements made between the Participant and the Organizer.
2.6. Participants who register for an online participations will receive a link to register for the access to the ZOOM platform within 7-2 days before the Conference on their email address provided during registration.
§3. Fees
3.1. Conference Participation fees are given at the Conference website: in the amount of 100 Euro (one hundred Euro only()
3.2. The fee for the Conference Participation should be paid to the bank account indicated by the Organizer via the provided online payment menhod. The information concerning fees are available on the Conference website.
3.3. Conference fee not paid within due time specified by the Organizer at the Conference website, entitles the Organizer to cancel the enrolment without any liability for damages.
3.4. The Organizer shall issue a VAT invoice or a receipt for the fees paid.
3.5. The payer (invoice recipient) is the subject ordering particular services associated with Conference Participation.
3.6. The cost of the participation in the Conference, accommodation and travel expenses are covered by the Participant.
§4. Resignation from the Conference Participation
4.1. The Participant can resign from the participation in the Conference within 14 days of the date of the registration, not later than the day of the beginning of the Conference. The resignation from the participation in the Conference shall be submitted in the written form via emai: [email protected]
4.2. In case of the resignation from the Conference Participation, not later than 14 days of the date of registration, the Organizer shall promptly return any fees already paid by the Participant to the bank account provided. Resignation from the Conference Participation later than 14 days of the date of registration, the Organizer will not return any fees already paid by the Participant.
§6. Complaints
6.1. Any complaints from the Conference Participants towards the Organizer shall be reported in a written form by a registered letter with advice of delivery to the head office of the Organizer or via e-mail address: [email protected]
6.2. Complaints made by the Conference Participants can be reported not later than 3 days from the end of the Conference in written form.
6.3. After the due date, no complaints shall be investigated.
§7. Personal data
7.1. The controller and the processor of the subscriber's personal data within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free
movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) is the Organizer.
7.2. The controller has a right to retrieve the personal data of Participants to the extent necessary in order to ensure the proper service.
7.3. The participant has a right to view his data at any time or demand the deletion or correction of the data.
§8. Final provisions
8.1. If the Conference does not take place due to reasons dependent solely on the Organizer, the Organizer shall immediately return the fees paid by the Participants to the indicated bank accounts.
8.2. Any disputes, which may arise from the participation in the Conference, shall be settled by the court relevant to the main office of the Organizer.
8.3. The Conference is closed and is not a mass event as provided for the Act on Mass Events Safety of 23 March 2009 (Journal of Laws 62/2009, item. 504.
8.4. To all matters not settled herein, provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
8.5. The Organizer is not responsible for Participants’ personal things which may be lost, damaged or stolen during the Conference.
8.6. Participants have full material liability for damage done by them both on the premises of the facilities where any Conference activities are conducted and in places of Participants’ accommodation.
8.7. These Terms and Conditions come into effect on the date of their posting on the Conference website.
8.8. The Organizer has the right to change the provisions of the Terms and Conditions. Changes come into effect not later than 7 days from their posting on the Conference website. In reference to the services in progress, the Regulations concerns the version applicable on the date of the Participant’s registration.
8.9. The provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall be an integral part of the Participation Enrolment in the Conference and apply to all the Participants.
